The southeast Texas HIE partnered with J2 to deploy InterSystems HealthShare, replacing its legacy platform
HOUSTON, TEXAS and CHARLESTOWN, MASSACHUSETTS, August 22, 2017 — Greater Houston Healthconnect (GHH) announced today that it has gone live with InterSystems HealthShare, an interoperability platform providing a reliable, unified health record for the area’s 12 million patients. Providers in the region can access GHH’s integrated EHR data to improve patient safety, efficiency and outcomes.
J2 Interactive, a longtime InterSystems partner, provided the technical services to complete the migration from a previous platform. “Platform migrations are never easy, but J2, in close partnership with InterSystems and GHH, was able to complete a successful migration with an ambitious timeline with no service disruption to existing stakeholders,” said Mickey Yalon, J2’s Vice President and Chief Technology Officer.
