Adaugeo Healthcare Solutions specializes in providing solutions to organizations ranging from physician clinics to clinical laboratories. For over 40 years, Adaugeo has provided EHR solutions, IT systems, revenue cycle management and consulting services to help clients achieve operational excellence.
In collaboration with Adaugeo-affiliated Interpath Laboratory, J2 designed and built a client/server mechanism for transmitting lab orders and results between client computers and a centralized Interpath server. A .NET service on the client machine handled frequent uploads of lab orders and scheduled downloads of lab results, while two InterSystems Ensemble (now Health Connect) web services on Adaugeo’s server received uploaded lab orders and responded to requests for lab results. Both the .NET client and the Ensemble web services were designed to support arbitrary differences in message structure and content among Interpath client installations.
