NextGen Healthcare provides EHR, financial and HIE solutions for hospitals, health systems physician practices, and other healthcare organizations. Offering HIT solutions that drive quality, collaborative and accountable care, NextGen helps clients increase revenue, streamline workflow, and comply with new healthcare reform rules, so they can better serve patients and provide communities with better health.
Several of J2’s HIE and integration projects, including those at Healthix and MemorialCare, have required us to integrate with NextGen applications. NextGen tapped into our expertise with their technology platform—and our intimate familiarity with the data exchange specifications required by Meaningful Use—by enlisting us to provide leadership and hands-on testing for interoperability certification between their customers’ vendor partners and the NextGen EHR Connect platform. Our work for NextGen involved a number of technologies and IHE protocols including CDA (C32, C80, C83), XDS, MPI, NAV, SAML, and consent modeling.
