Funding to Benefit Long-Term and Post-Acute Care Patients Across Rhode Island
PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND, August 6, 2015 — The Rhode Island Quality Institute has received $2.7M in grant funding from the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT to expand the reach and impact of its statewide HIE, CurrentCare. The grant will fund RIQI’s Sharing Health Information for Transitions in Care project, designed to improve care coordination with a particular focus on long-term and post-acute facilities. RIQI continues to rely on J2 to help build and support the necessary integrations between the HealthShare clinical data repository at the heart of CurrentCare and care providers across the state.
