CAMBRIDGE, MA & HOUSTON, TX November 16, 2020—Today, InterSystems announced the extension of its support to Greater Houston Healthconnect, a regional health information exchange (HIE) serving counties in southeast Texas and western Louisiana. This decision comes in response to COVID-19 to better collect, normalize, aggregate, and share patient data to help fight the pandemic.
To combat the growing number of cases in Texas and the increased need for quality clinical data to make informed care decisions, Greater Houston Healthconnect has leveraged its interoperable network powered by InterSystems HealthShare. HealthShare ensures the seamless integration of data from EHRs to deliver a unified patient record at the point of care.
